Elementary School Piano Camp

For students entering 1st through 3rd grade,
with 6 months previous piano experience

The Schedule:
---------Monday, 8/4 through Thursday, 8/7: 1:30-4:00 pm
----------with a Closing Recital, Friday 8/8 at 1:30

The Theme:

Why do composers compose music?

During this Camp, students will gain an understanding of the different types of inspirations composers might experience. By the end of the week, each student will have explored the themes of art, nature, countries and cultures, and modern media. Each student will be involved in composing a piece of music inspired by sounds found all around us. Students will also be placed in duet or quartet combinations for performance at the Friday recital.
