Throughout the year, the State Street Academy of Music brings the Sundays on State Street concert series to downtown Harrisburg. Most concerts begin at 4:00 p.m. and are open to the public with a requested $10 donation per person. All donations benefit the academy. The concerts take place at State Street Academy of Music, located at St. Lawrence Chapel, 110 State Street and feature the talents of the area’s finest classical musicians. In early December, the holiday season kicks off with the much anticipated and very popular Messiah College Music Ensemble's Christmas Concert.
