Molly Nawrocki

Molly a native of Santa Barbara, CA and has been teaching piano for 25 years. She studied at Berklee College of Music, majoring in film scoring and arranging, and subsequently at Ithaca College majoring in music theory. Molly has taught at private music studios in Chicago and Portland (OR), as well as continuously maintaining a home studio.

Molly is a classically trained pianist with a special fondness for the music of Chopin, and recorded a CD of ten of his Nocturnes. Although her primary focus is on classical music, she’s versed in and has taught many other genres - including contemporary, jazz, pop, reggae, and musical theatre.

Her teaching approach embraces the student’s individual goals and learning styles; she creates lessons and utilize methods that most effectively reflect each student’s uniqueness, and fosters a positive, welcoming learning environment. Molly is passionate about teaching, sharing her love of music, and helping students move forward on their musical journeys.
